Professionals of many disciplines serve youth all over the world every day. In many cases, pay is low, frustration levels are high, and results are difficult to measure. Yet these professionals often have a profound positive and sometimes lifelong impact on the youth they serve.

POY wants to share stories of some these unsung heroes in a future edition of POY. Site visitors may submit a profile of a special professional via the link below. Featured professionals may be of any discipline that serves youth including teachers, mental health professionals, social workers, attorneys, community leaders, policy advocates, etc.

Submissions may be up to three pages in length and sent via a MS Word attachment or as part of a pasted e-mail. Submissions must be from an adult (18+) familiar with the work of the professional such as a professional colleague, a parent of a youth, or an adult that was significantly helped by the professional during the adult's childhood.
