it can seem overwhelming to sort through the mass numbers

publication of the UC Davis School of Law that addresses
the unique concerns of children in the American legal
system. Initially a product of the creativity and activism
of a small group of King Hall students, called the Advocates
for the Rights of Children (ARC), the Journal has evolved
into a vigorous organization committed to providing
practical and timely information about current juvenile,
family, and educational law issues. The goal of the

encourage community awareness and involvement in issues

children's section. In this section, focus is on children's
issues from their perspective-through poems, drawings,
interviews, games, and creative writing. Previously,
the Journal presented a series of children's drawings
in which they expressed their reactions to personal
domestic violence experiences. The feature was accompanied
by an article critiquing the legal system's treatment
of domestic violence and the children who must suffer
through it. Other issues addressed in the past have
included analyses of welfare reform, outcome-based education,
the ethical responsibilities of children's attorneys,
